A Study of Congenitally Missing Permanent Teeth in Wonju Severance Christian Hospital

Congenitally missing teeth are one of the most prevalent dental anomalies in oral cavity. In this study, prevalence, distribution, and symmetry congenitally permanent among 1,865 patients aged 7 to 15 years who visited Pediatric Dentistry Department Wonju Severance Christian Hospital from March 2011 May 2021 took panoramic radiographs were investigated analyzed. Most had or two teeth, mainly second premolars lateral incisors. occurred more mandible than maxilla, there was no significant difference prevalence between left right sides. tend occur symmetrically on sides maxilla mandible, depending tooth. Early examination radiological required prevent complications due appropriate interdisciplinary treatment is required.
